OUR MISSION, VISION & LINKED SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS EXPLAINED.

Goal 1: No Poverty

RVF LBG’s holistic approach aims to break the chains of poverty that often accompany adolescent pregnancies. By empowering young mothers with the skills and resources to start their own businesses, we are not only enabling them to provide for their children but also lifting them out of the depths of poverty and upgrading the economic status of their entire communities. With specific targets under this goal in consideration, these transformations reverberate through the entire community, reducing the prevalence of poverty and building a more sustainable future.

Goal 5: Gender Equality

At the core of our mission is the belief that gender equality is not a distant dream but a tangible reality that we can create. By promoting quality adolescent healthcare, educating and empowering the girl child, young mothers, and young women, we are actively promoting gender equality. Our mentorship programs, knowledge acquisition initiatives, and educational support systems are all steps towards achieving SDG Goal 5. Having considered certain targets under Goal 5, we recognize that true progress hinges on gender equality. Therefore, we give equal opportunity to adolescent boys, young fathers and men so they can make informed decisions. This is a stepped-up approach to achieve tangible results in our target groups.

A Ripple Effect of Positive Impactful Change

As RVF LBG continues to expand its reach and impact, we remain committed to these goals. Every life transformed, every young mother and woman empowered, and every community uplifted is a testament to our dedication to the ideals of SDG Goals 1 and 5.

With emphasis on the nature and applicability of the global goals and its targets, we appreciate its integration and indivisibility. Inasmuch as Royal Vine Foundation LBG has prioritized Goals 1 and 5 in our project delivery, our project design to address No Poverty targets goes a long way to directly support Goals 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) to ensure that no one is left behind.

Our efforts are not isolated; they are part of a larger global movement to create a better future for all. By weaving these goals into our narrative, we underline the significance of our work in the context of a broader, shared vision of prosperity, gender equality, and sustainable development. Together, we can turn these dreams into reality, one underserved community at a time.
