Who We Are?

Our mission is clear: to tackle the pressing issue of rampant adolescent births that have cast shadows over the development prospects of rural communities in Ghana. The statistics are sobering across the regions in Ghana.

Not only are the figures alarming, they were accompanied by the looming risks of sexually transmitted diseases and infections. Adolescent pregnancy is thus a national concern in Ghana.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Kwasi’s passion for justice and ending abuse dates back to his formative years at St. Peter’s Senior High School in Nkwatia – Kwahu, Eastern Region, Ghana. Disturbed by the repulsiveness of abuse, he finds both pleasure and necessity in serving as the secretary to the Foundation. His dedication to the Foundation is not just a duty; it’s a personal commitment to fostering a safer and more equitable world for the vulnerable members of society.

Adolescent pregnancies are a global issue with prevalence in the developing economies of the world. Sub-Saharan Africa records the highest within the developing regions with about 143 per 1000 girls aged 15-19 years. The occurrence in urban areas are relatively lower compared to marginalized communities.
